All cakes are invoiced/ paid upon ordering. See cancellation terms below.

For larger cakes (50+ servings) booked more than 6 months in advance, a 35% deposit will be invoiced at booking time with the remaining amount due 1 month prior to delivery.  If the remainder is unpaid 1 month prior, we reserve the right to cancel the order. A contact attempt to the Customer will be sent as a reminder will be given, and if the payment is still not paid, the order will be officially cancelled (default cancellation). In the case of default cancellation, a notification will be sent to the Customer.

Having the absolute perfect celebration cake is important to us, so be sure to notify us of alterations in good time and in writing. We allow up alteration notifications up until 10 days prior to when the cake is needed. Please note, however, that changes such as cake size, design, delivery/pick up time, or venue. Be aware that any alteration may result in an additional charge and you will be notified about this in writing prior to agreeing.

Please be aware that the images displayed on the website are to give an idea of the end-product. Due to the artistic and artesian nature of the trade, no cake will be exactly the same. These details will be minor, however, and you can expect a cake that looks very similar.

We reserve the right to make alterations to structural components of the cake if circumstances beyond our control compromise the quality of the finished product – for example, weather conditions. This may include extreme heat that will require a different coating, frosting, or filling. You will be notified of these changes as soon as possible and it is our goal to keep any alterations to a minimum.

Our products can contain materials that require removal before consumption. Items such as supporting pieces, plastic plates, floral wires, etc. Be sure to check with us if you are unsure about what can and cannot be eaten on your cake. 

Due to the nature of our ingredients, some cakes require consistent refrigeration. These cakes include mousse and cream cakes and cakes with cream cheese frostings. Most cakes have the best flavor if placed at room temperature for 15-20 min. before serving. If you are in doubt about whether your cake requires refrigeration or not, please contact us. 

Please be aware that this bakery produces cakes that contain gluten, nuts, and other possible allergens and although special attention can be paid to ensure minimal contact, 'zero contact' cannot be guaranteed. In signing this agreement you confirm that CC has asked you if any special attention should be paid to possible allergens for your cake.

Fresh Flowers: Cake Creations uses edible blooms. The size and selection of flowers available for decorating can therefore be limited by weather conditions and season. If you would like to hear more about which edible blooms could be used for your cake, send us a message here.

All cakes can be rebooked with a change of date 14 days prior to the original date. A change of date within 14 days of original agreement with be subject to a rebooking fee of 200dkk.

By picking up a cake or other products the Customer agrees that the product is in accordance with the agreed order. In case of a third party is picking up the cake, it’s the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that the person picking up is advised and aware of the details of the product to be picked up, and have at least a digital copy of the order confirmation. 

Once a cake is picked up, CC is no longer responsible for any damages to the cake or products. The In the event of damage, the Customer is welcome to contact CC for repair assistance at an additional cost. The repair assistance may not be available due to a busy schedule. The Customer is responsible for sending detailed photos of the damage so a price quote for the repair can be given and accepted before the repair assistance is commenced.

It is important that the vehicle transporting the cake has a flat and steady surface and that the cake can be secured to avoid sliding or tipping. Due to the delicacy of the products, it is the driver's responsibility to drive with care.

For cakes delivered to venues it is the Customer’s responsibility to report any damage to us within 24 hours in writing, as well as send photographic evidence of the issue/damage within 7 working days if you wish to make a complaint. CC will then evaluate the evidence and access whether a portion of the cake payment should be refunded.

In some weather conditions, there is the possibility of sugar and chocolate decorations melting or cake fillings to be compromised. Please see our product information below for tips on how to ensure your cake stays beautiful and fresh. If the advised refrigeration is not possible, consuming the cake as soon as possible is recommended.

It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that delivery cakes have an appropriate place to put them such as a table or refrigerator at the agreed upon delivery time.

Deposits are non-refundable as they are put in place to reserve a date that could have otherwise been booked by another customer.

Smaller cakes that are required to be paid in full upon ordering can be cancelled with 14 days' notice for a refund minus an administration fee of 200dkk. Work on cakes cancelled after this point may have commenced and CC reserves the right to withhold a portion of the payment equal to the value of the work or materials already purchased as well as the 200dkk administrative fee.

ALL Cakes booked within 14 days of delivery/pick up date, are non-refundable.

In the unfortunate circumstance that CC may need to cancel the Customer's order for any reason, we will give as much notice as possible and a full-refund will be given. Consultation and cake tasting fees are non-refundable.

Unfortunately we cannot issue a refund if you need to cancel your booking. We reserve the right to cancel the class if we do not have the minimum required number of students booked. However, in the unlikely event that we have to cancel a class, you will be offered a full refund or a transfer of your booking to another class of the same price.
